The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay. 

At K's Cutting Edge Salon, our events are more than just fun, they are apart of an ongoing campaign to support important causes in our community.  Through each event, we aim to make a difference by gathering donations, raising awareness & funds for local charities.

WHAT IS ST. JUDE KNOWN FOR?

St. Jude specializes in care for some of the toughest pediatric cases, all while investing in resources and technologies for cutting-edge scientific research. And families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live.

Unlike other hospitals, the majority of funding for St. Jude comes from generous donors.

CUT FOR A CURE​ COOKOFF​
APRIL 6, 2025​  12PM- 5PM

Join us for our Cut for a Cure Cookoff, benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! This exciting event will feature free haircuts for those donating 10 inches or more of uncolored hair, with all hair donations sent to Locks of Love.

Not ready for a big chop? We’ve got you covered with $16 facial waxes (per area) and $40 shampoo blow-dries.

Enjoy a raffle drawing, with tickets available for just $1 each, plus a variety of vendors, a jumpy house, and our famous fajita and salsa competition! The cookoff will be judged 50% by people’s choice and 50% by a panel of judges.

Want to participate?

    •    Cooking Teams: $25 entry fee

    •    Vendors: No fee, but must donate an item for the raffle

All proceeds go directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Come out, have fun, and support a great cause!
